Carotid Stenting

Stenting is a procedure that opens blocked arteries to restore blood flow to the brain. They are often done to treat or prevent strokes. The carotid arteries are located on each side of your neck. These are the main arteries that supply blood to the brain. They can become clogged with fatty deposits that slow or block blood flow to the brain and can lead to a stroke.
