Endovascular surgery is a cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatment for blood vessel anomalies such as aneurysms, which are blood vessel bulges or "ballooning." A minor incision near each hip is made to allow access to the blood vessels. Our patients receive the best care from Dr. Navin Chobdar. Endovascular Surgery is provided to our patients by Dr. Navin Chobdar. Dr. Navin Chobdar is a highly skilled endovascular surgeon. Endovascular surgery is a novel, less intrusive treatment used to treat blood vessel disorders such as aneurysms, which are swellings or "ballooning" of the blood vessels. To gain access to the blood vessels, a tiny incision near each hip is made. A catheter, a long, narrow flexible tube, is used to implant an endovascular graft, which is a unique fabric tube device framed with stainless steel self-expanding stents, through the arteries, and into the aorta. When the graft is in place, it expands and shuts off the aneurysm, preventing blood from flowing into it. The graft is permanently implanted in the aorta. Previously, this illness was treated with open surgery, which required an incision in the side of the chest or breastbone and a lengthy recuperation period. Patients usually stay in the hospital for seven to ten days after open surgery and recuperate for three months.
